Next Year
So the 8th grade year is almost over and I will be going into high school next year. I'm going to International School of Beaverton (ISB). I'm pretty excited to be going to a new school. The ISB campus is fairly large and there's not a lot of students, so it will be a lot less crowded. I'll be taking Spanish language classes and Tech/Art for a elective. ISB has IB classes, which are similar to AP classes but they are accepted all over the world. I'm looking forward to having a great 9th grade year!

Most Popular Blogs
I saw a post on Technorati recently about the 10 most popular blogs. I visited 3 of those blogs: TechCrunch, Engadget, and Gizmodo. I liked these blogs because they were about current technology and they are very detailed. My favorite was TechCrunch because it has a lot of stuff about tech companies and market stuff. It also has interesting articles about games and gaming companies. I suggest you all check TechCrunch out and see if you like it.

Textify: Turning Pictures into HTML Portraits
Link to Original Article
This is a interesting little program called Textify. What it does is use HTML to change every individual pixel in picture into a text character. Here's a example of what it can do:
Because it's entirely HTML, this makes it easy to post on webpages and blogs. I wonder what other potential this technology has?

Speak Asia Scam
Apparently a Ponzi scheme called Speak Asia that has become extremely popular in India is coming under fire as many of their claims are being proven false. It's a online survey scam where they get you to give them money which you get payed back and earn a profit the more you work for them. You also get more money by getting other people to fall for it. However, now the Indian government is investigating Speak Asia's financial activities. The company is not based in Singapore as they claim, but in the British Virgin Isles.
I think it's terrible that such a large scale scam has made so much money and ran unchecked for so long without the Indian government investigating. I hope that the people that got their money stolen get reimbursed.
